The DA tried to enter that sort of information in as evidence and the judge didn't allow it as it was "prejudicial". They even had quotes from Rittenhouse saying he wanted to go kill protesters but couldn't use them.

Yes, I'd be horrified to see my child holding a real gun. How can people actually hand them to kids? I guess if your family is big into hunting, ok, I can see that. But hunting in the US seems pretty different from hunting in Canada, from what I've seen.

No, that's the whole story. My dad posed me, wearing a diaper and a cowboy hat, with a six-gun and took a pic. I grew up to be pretty anti-gun, anti-war and leaning left of center. I doubt that he was trying to groom me; he never showed enough interest to have done that.
