Accidentally Got A Licence to Conceal, So I Had To Get A Gun To Conceal

I fought with myself over getting a "full-size" concealed carry pistol or a pocket pistol and decided to go with a pocket pistol. It'll get some laughs in the veteran circles I travel, but that's not my problem.

So what I got was a Ruger LCP II, chambered in .380 ACP.

It truly is a tiny pistol, coming in at just barely under 6 inches along it's longest axis (Heel to tip).

It also uses a truly tiny round, the .380 ACP. Depending on who you ask, that caliber is either the bare minimum required to defend yourself, or just below what's necessary.

I got this instead of the larger and more powerful M&P Shield 9mm I was looking at because I wanted something I could just toss in a pocket without having to carefully construct an outfit in which I could hide a gun. I got something in the first place because my M1911 is in-concealable. It would be easier to hide a shotgun - At least those are straight.

Some of the stuff the pistol came with. Left is a pocket holster, which seems to only work with smaller pockets (I have big boy pocket pants). Upper right is a alternative magazine butt plate. It doesn't have the finger extending tab currently on the magazine, bottom right. Only a 6 round magazine - They make 7 round magazines, but this should work fine for me for the time being.

A Hogue rubber grip. Makes the grip of the pistol wider, and easier to hold at the expensive of being fat.

This pistol uses the middle one, the .380 ACP. The PMC Bronze is just target ammo for practice - Probably not wise to carry that.
