Get a Norwegian Forest Cat for fluffy but healthy faces.
They’re fluffy and very cute thank you :) but they will have breathing issues I’m certain.

Actually, the one with the short nose is a Persian cat, norweigian forest cats are real fluffy and soft but without smooshed face

... If I end up with a smoosh faced cat, that is fine. Smoosh faced cats need love too. But if I'm paying, I want the GIANT FLUFFY KITTY.
.. without the smooshed face. Of course, we've not actually PURCHASED a cat yet, so that's not an issue. Shelter cats are nearly free.

Did you try medication or hypoallergenic cat breeds? I think russian blue and sphynx are ok.
and skin excretions and not hair which wouldn't matter with those breeds
i read up about this and unfortunately apparently the glycoprotein which causes most allergic reactions is due to cat saliva...
