If Microsoft has taught me anything, it's to never trust windows, no matter how stable it may appear.

Downstairs neighbor just happens to have curtains obscuring his upskirt line of sight.
ReddogBigdaddy
If you don't have the top floor, you're going to get peed on.
phasmafelis
Great, so it's a balcony that you can't use when either the heat or the AC is on. But it's great for like 2 weeks in spring and fall!
loriannlester
Cool concept, but never, EVER that far up! NO NO NO!
lVlARIO
Anyone else ever get the urge just to throw themselves off stuff? Like, not suicide (though it ultimately would be!), but just the odd urge.
GalaxyDigger
It called the accident waiting to happen
FourthN10
Some times i wonder what it would be like to be rich.
Sirsir94
Yay footprints on the window!
Nottherealslimshadyjusthisbodydouble
And now girls cannot wear skirts. Woo architecture.
ninjagaidensigma
Then a kid jumps up and down on it for fun while you're standing on it.
LaBix
And what happens when it inevitably fails open during a storm? "I always wanted an indoor swimming pool."

+1 for description
MyOtherImgurUserameIsMuchMoreImpressive
Admit it. All of you would sit down and slide down on the inside back into the room as it move to the closed position... ;L) Weeeeee!
umbrellamaker
Oh hell no. Nope nope nope nope nope
creepycookiemonster
But why? I mean.. why not just regula balcony? You cant't even put stuff on ist, like plants or a table or something..
DrDigestive
No wonder it's CGI, they couldn't find anyone dumb enough to actually stand outside on it.
stabbedbyroadkill
You would be amazed how many dumb people you could find who are willing to stand outside. You only need money.
NCm2000
Even years later. Nope. That's a glass coffin.
JacquesBauer
I Don't understand why this is better than just having a balcony with sliding doors or something.
marylanddd
yeah the bugs would all get in, no?
00neonero00
Umm that fresh city pollution.
ThisIsGod
Mmm
00neonero00
PS: I love Your work. I mean "free will" was a little much, but the concept of sex is absolutely hilarious. Thank You for that.

Queefs are my favorite
YonderPeachTree
ok but I can't stand highrise windows at all to begin with, let alone a glass floor. I know how to get rid of the fear but its not worth it
YonderPeachTree
id have to go up to one and lean against the glass for a few min, staring out into the abyss to prove to myself im not falling. ill pass
NobleAdvances
Da dum, uh... crash.
IAmShithead
Wouldn't the wind be cranberry fucknuts that high up?
NationalSecurityAgentC
And they're doing that while their friend's trying to give a piano recital. Way to go, guys.
ThisIsGod
What?! I cant hear you! Speak up!
jaydubu
WOULDN'T THE WIND BE CRANBERRY FUCKNUTS THAT HIGH UP !!!!!
WhatzitTooya
WHAT?? SNOTZBERRIES ARE NOT FUCHSIA!!
JeffGodofBiscuits
How long before the first reports of people peeing out the windows come raining in?
mynewestusername
It'll probably happen on the very first one installed by the people installing it.
BoltaryNioea
Get it, raining in?
Lugh314159
I'd settle for an office window that opened.
joegolf31
Id settle for a window
MusicPirate
Not only no, but fuck no.
m3d1cated
Don't forget nope to the nope nope
ImguriansFillMySaltReservoir
Jameszombob
id be cool with it if it were made with like super thick acrylic or glass. like some sea world aquarium grade shit, ya know?
januskincaid
I mean, it's cool, but I'd prefer if the bottom pane was actually like steel or something. 1/2
januskincaid
If you're going to use it as a balcony mainly you don't really need floor to ceiling windows everywhere.2/2
TronaldDumpR
CEO of Bloomframe windows dies after falling through his personal window balcony.
tarantularaptor

After yelling, "look! I can even jump up and down on it!"

Maybe if it were like, 4 feet above the ground, maybe.
HeyItsHerrTrigger
M A Y B E
DaveedS14
Lol exactly
mysticarchives
I would open it but I would NEVER stand on it. No matter how far off the ground.
ButtAmbassador
Unless, when it opened, it was literally on the ground.
WellBehavedZombie
Wouldn't there be quite a wind at that height?
WellBehavedZombie
meaning on a skyscraper... not four feet.
hereforthensfwreddits
I could see this on the second story, but I don't know how I feel about standing on plate glass. That shit can shear you in half!
acenorth69
I wouldn't worry about being cut by glass at that point lol
hereforthensfwreddits
Second story drop isn't too bad. at most you'd twist your ankle.
HowDidIGetNaked
I would waste so much windex cleaning that shit up after every time I step out
CarlTheLlamaBoy
Or you could wear socks..
CDew
That's the same as asking me to wear socks on wooden stairs, I'll die if it's a balcony
CarlTheLlamaBoy
can get non slip tho.. Or just straight up nothing. You don't have to wear shoes on it fam
pizzarollsandoreos
If you could afford living in a place like that you could probably afford a cleaning person to do that for you.
FreakyFerguson
Nooooo, YOU buy!
Ketheres
Slaves can be surprisingly cheap!

Why not have a permanent balcony?
EcchiOjisan
Because architecture, man!
WhatzitTooya
Cause neither the owner nor the architect would allow you to cripple the pristine appearance of this building by a bunch of balconies.
Zipp4Real
It actually has more to do with structural integrity. At that hight, a strong wind catching on that balcony, can make the whole thing sway.
Yanov
Because at that height the wind is actually dangerous, if not extremely unpleasant.
Zipp4Real
Besides, if the window is down acting like a balcony.... wheres the wind-protection of... you know... the window... coming from? 1/2
Zipp4Real
2/2. With this design you can either have a flimsy balcony and a ton of wind destroying your home, or a wall. Id go with a wall and a door.
tiikuri
And how is this design going to change that?
almostsomething182
By making it more dangerous by being a temporary, moving structure instead of a solid permanent one.
WhatzitTooya
You could automatically retreat it if wind gets too strong, just like blinds.
Yanov
Who said it would?
tiikuri
Then what's the point of your comment? :)
Yanov
Explaining why people don't have permanent balconies at that height.
IKnowWhatImAboutSon
You could just put it out when it's not windy...
Zipp4Real
That high up, its pretty much always windy.
tiikuri
But what's the point? You could just have a permanent balcony and simply not go outside when it's windy.
IKnowWhatImAboutSon
If you look at things that way there's not much point in anything. I.e. Why buy the £30 shirt when you can buy the bargain £3 one
fantasticlight
The issue isn't on people but the structure itself. Reason why most of the super tall structures you see are smooth.
