Curse of Strahd - I designed and 3D printed all the monsters and NPCs from this awesome D&D book!

Here is my next chapter in 3D modeling and printing all the Monsters and NPCs in all the 5e Dungeons and Dragons books - Curse of Strahd! This was a really fun project to take on, and I loved the designs in this fantastic book.

All of the designs were modeled in Blender and printed through Cura with my Printrbot Simple Metal. The portrait though was a joke file that I found on Thingiverse, along with Baba Yaga's hut. All files can be accessed from the links below each image for free, after you log into Shapeways.

I painted them all with acrylic paint following smoothing them out with sanding and using a smoothing agent called XTC3D. After painting I varnished them with a gloss or matte varnish.

This is a combination of various models I found on Thingiverse. As for the portrait, well that's just a simple google search haha. When you glue your own picture the size is roughly 1.5 by 1 inch.
