I think you MIGHT want to take a look at what enchantments are on there. Believe it or not the quality of the enchantments influence the XP
costs of repairing a pickaxe. As well does the durability.

It's really a game in which you have to make your own fun. There are few goals aside from those you set yourself. Mods can change this tho.

(1) I watched the youtuber Seananners do a lets play back in its BETA stages, figured it was worth the small amount of money to try it out.
(3) changes the game completely, which helps it never get boring. Was definitely worth the money imo, and I am not even big into indie games

I'm going to throw this out there for comparatives but: Terraria, especially during a Steam Sale. I arguably enjoy it more than Minecraft.
(Also, it has a more classic side scroller/rpg element feeling to it, using sprites makes the low-tech graphics feel more natural/oldschool)
