This is a completely personal preference, but bump up your ISO just a little bit to give your pictures more brightness.

bumping Iso doesn't increase brightness...it will allow a faster shutter speed OR smaller aperture, but the tonal value will be the same....

Take pictures of PEOPLE...look at your BAD shots....see what you need to do to improve them!

When taking pictures outdoors, take several different shots of the same angle. It will help you get the best shot when elements you (1/2)
