Well, no. Carbon offsets and carbon credits, the idea is that if you aren't able to reduce your own emissions, you can pay a 'fee' of sorts, by investing into technologies / companies that are low or negative carbon impact. The idea is, "if you won't do it, we'll make you fund the people who will replace you".
A good idea, but ultimately [company] just creates some shell company, puts a couple solar panels on the roof, and trades money from the left to the right hand.

Because the rape of a child is worse. The tags of the story say CNC, or consensual non-consent, which is, theoretically, a kink where you play act at rape but everyone has agreed beforehand that it's all good and there are safe words and such. This can't exist with someone who can't consent. Normally, stories of rape and murder aren't presented as erotica like this is. Imagine an ugly war story but each death scene was written as porn, that would be the equivalent. (Yes, this probably exists)
