I think some grease/oil may have been left in the engraving a bit. Next time I take off the slide and go after the engraving and grease.

The old ones usually do. I have a WWII victory model Smith & Wesson .38 revolver. Love that gun.

Have CCW but don't carry except when camping or remote areas. I have other gun with greater stopping power than the .32 ACP/7.65mm
