Depends on the joules and 'tip' width. I've had different settings during a removal and I've had blisters and sometimes nothing at all

I found it very painful, kinda like the feeling of hot oil on your skin. In saying that, it only takes 5-7mins to do and then just feels 1/

Tattoos are removed with lasers. Laser light is at a frequency which is primarily absorbed by the tattoo pigment causing it to break down.
