Be very careful.

I hit either a raven or a vulture yesterday. It hurt like hell and it bruised almost the entirety of my chest. My windshield was shattered due to me being stupid and dropping it on my tools, lodging a wrench into it. I stupidly took a ride without it yesterday.

I hurt so much today but luckily I don't have any bruised ribs. Just a massive bruise on the center of my chest/ cut on my face from it's beak.

And I thought bugs hurt. Had a big ass beetle hit me in the face on the highway before. I can't imagine what a bird would feel like.

I usually don't even wear a helmet when I ride...I like to live dangerously.

There's plenty of increased safety in a cage, if that's what you prefer.

Last few bikes I bought first thing I took off the windscreen. I just don't like them.

I don't either. But I will be getting another one ASAP. I never want to feel this again.

Did not realize bikes came with windshields

Most bikes don't come with them, but dealers are happy to sell you one.

Motorcycles do. It's that giant pane of glass on the front of the bike that's detachable.

Slow, loud and heavy with a definite "Look at me! Look at me!" vibe
