So there's this girl

I like her. A lot.

I've been wanting to tell her for ages but the moment hasn't been right. Things keep getting in the way. Things I can't control.

I finally told her.

I wanted to tell her in person, but she knew something was up and wanted me to tell her now. So I sent her a message via Facebook.

That was almost an hour ago. We message each other constantly, this silence is killing me.

I'm absolutely terrified right now. I don't mind if she doesn't feel the same way, she's an awesome friend and I wouldn't want to lose that friendship.

She said no. She likes me a lot, considers me one of her best friends. She just doesn't see me in that way.

Good news is she's glad I told her. She had a feeling I liked her that way, so all this did was clear everything up.

Yes, I'm heartbroken. Yes, I still want more from our friendship.

But fuck it, it could have been worse.

As people always say, if you want something you've never had you have to do something you've never done.
