My buddy saw his daughters for the first time in 14 years today.

Here's the moment they came through arrivals.

Emotions were high!!

My buddy, Roger, hadn't seen his daughters in about 14 years. They grew up in Australia and he lives here in the UK. Various reasons I won't go into has lead to that long gap, but most notably his PTSD (He's a veteran with a commendation from the Queen) and more recently botched shit on his spine leaving him with back pain for life and on a world of meds.

His missus managed to get the money via a go fund me campaign helped out by family and friends to pay for his daughters to come to the UK.

I filmed the reunion today and it was a beautiful moment. He said he was past tears, but I've never seen the look of pure joy on his face before (and because of his PTSD, I've seen a lot of different looks!). He admitted, however, that when he went off for a pee, he just burst into tears to himself.

They have 3 weeks together, hopefully it's not another 14 years after that.
