My 17 year old Snow has been ill for a couple of weeks and we went to the vet 4 times. She picked up a virus during one of her visits so a lot of coughing and sneezing and gagging. She also had diarrhea after the antibiotics. So often the cure brings its own problems. The only skin treatment I use on Snow is plain saline or very weak AC vinegar and water. I doubled up her probiotic and that's helping.
In spite of all her issues, Gumbus looks very beautiful. Thank you for sharing your progress.

One vet show had a cat with chin acne that was allergic to the food bowl. They switched to a stainless steel bowl and the acne improved.

I got a special bowl set that's supposed to prevent chin acne, whisker fatigue, and neck/back strain.

I had a cat with this issue. Switched from plastic to ceramic and a wider bowl so less chance of physical contact and it cleared right up.
