It's such a big step from where I started. I almost can't believe I've made it. I had no direction after highscool so I became severally depressed. Got so bad, had times I stayed in bed literally staring at my ceiling from dusk to dawn. Thankfully I have a loving mother who continued to care for me despite how much of a burden I was.
Was able to to overcome my depression. I went out and got my ged (was homeschooled so no hs diploma). Recently got my very first job and I'm going to college on top of it. All in less than 8 months.
Really feels like I jumped from the kiddie pool to the deep end.

Make sure you take 4 core classes and 1 experimental class of your liking. See what you like. Some majors gets better as you progress.

Attend every class and pay attention! While I used a laptop for class all thru grad school, I recommend paper for notes. You won't be 1/2
