Maybe not in this case but apparently dogs, like humans, dream about things they know and like. So chances are you dog dreams about you
RatBits
Ugh, that music. I wanted to hear the sleepy doggo noises.
Still, cute pupper. ;)

Predators don't threaten prey, it's not a squirrel--probably an enemy dog
VidaVita
I believe that in her dream she was indeed chewing 5 Gum.

Was at a mates place when his dog was dreaming, poor thing fart scared herself awake, kicked the cat off the chair then ran into a lamp
GadenKerensky
Dog dreams go hard sometimes.
UpsideDownSquirrel
I'm flattered and terrified.

I'd always wake my dog up from nightmares slowly and then I'd kiss his forehead. He'd let out a sigh and go back to sleep.
KambalkaExterminator
Or maybe she's at the harvest.
kalamariner
The music though… just why.
Biznakis
I dream of phthevie
snortchuckle
Oh sweet Jesus that made me laugh

My woofs do this 2-5 times a day. It’s hilarious. And sometimes frightening. I’ve also caught them wagging!

My dog always has really intense dreams. She borks and yips and you can see her legs trying to pump away. I wake her if it seems unpleasent
Snooj
Why do people think shitty music enhances videos? Please stop. All of you. Stop it. Bad.

Can you imagine there was a time when some people seriously believed (and publicly argued) that animals don't have an inner life?
They still do lol
FlatPlutoSociety
My dog absolutely has an inner life. It's a VERY stupid inner life that involves nothing but squirrels and cheese, but it exists.
TomBrokaw
Hey! that's like 50% of my inner life
cuddlesdotgif
…well this is awkward
MotoCanuck
I used to get so worried when my dog had REM. Then I found out it just means they feel super comfortable and safe. <3
Taliska
my poor boy has nightmares, he cries and howls in his sleep, when I wake him up he whines and crawls into my lap like a scared puppy :'(
wish I knew what scares a good boi so much to give them nightmares so I can go find and curbstomp it
Carl99
Good human *Woof*
duktayp
careful; dog having a nightmare might bite the first thing they see when waking up
Foagie
I was a young boy and I stepped over a dog in a friends house and he was sleeping (his name was Blue) he woke up and bit my Achilles
Hashbrown123
Hopefully he was brought to heel.
superkavi
Was the dog's name Paris,by any chance?
Rogahar
In my experience, softly saying their name (like you normally would to soothe/calm them) helps. They don't wake up but do calm down.
Atralumen
This works on my pup as well!
Our old Boxer, Moet, was a very vivid dreamer, but if we ever worried she wasn't enjoying it we did this and it always worked. <3
