I don't have sympathy per say, but I do understand the blame is not solely on them. It's brainwashing and cuts in education that causes cases like this to be common. Like Nazi Germany didn't happen because German people were fundamentally evil, but because they were manipulated and fundamentally human.

I spent a lot of the first term trying to find some sort of balance, peace, and understanding because I live in Missouri. Most of my family voted for trump both times.
By the end of 2020, though, I was right in that "fuck you" boat. They never opened their eyes with covid. They just doubled down and dug in deeper. I have zero sympathy for the people who voted for the leopards party nor the people stupid enough to care about them.
