Can you be anonymous? Yes - with non-trivial amounts of effort and skill. It requires knowledge of how the internet actually works and significant effort. A VPN alone is insufficient, despite what the ads would have you believe, against a nation-state. Compared to you, the US government has effectively unlimited resources, and law enforcement powers, and decades of experience. They can - and will - round up these bozos just like January 6th.

One of the biggest barriers to success is a lack of access to realistic programs that treat the needs of the individual. I can promise you that a lot of programs law enforcement refers patients to are not accessible or tailored to the needs of the individual.

Technically, yes, actually threatening someone is against the law. That said, there's unlikely to be any consequences for most of these people given 1) the difficulty of having a law enforcement agency track them down, which for most of these sites is going to require a warrant, and 2) the fact that bringing charges based strictly on unfulfilled threats is going to take a lot of time and effort for a DA who might not want to risk losing.

It is defensible to prepare for violence, especially when the right is calling for it, but indefensible to call for violence until voting is exhausted and violence is inescapable. Yes, I get "punch a nazi" but that's still vigilantism and while satisfying, even that is fraught.
