The French braid. Oui Oui Oo la la.
So this is like super hard to do (I'm a guy so this is all new to me). It took me forever to get it to look even kind of ok. But I'm improving! I would definitely be down with hearing any tips/suggestions from you guys though.

Lil back story:
Due to an injury my girlfriend had as an infant, she can't raise her left arm higher than chest level. So braiding or fancy hair styles are pretty much impossible for her to do by herself. So I've been learning how to do some hairstyles for her. And I'm actually enjoying it.. Shhh

Look up fish tail braid. It's really pretty and easier than a French once you get the hang of it. Her hair is defintely long enough for it

Try putting dry shampoo in it (I use dove brand it's cheap and it's awesome) also get a decent hairspray. Don't curl on freshly washed hair

Honestly French braiding your own hair is like writing a paper about molecular genetic on your back with a piece of crayon. So real hard.

Pretty sure I can write that genetics paper. But I'll never manage more than a basic braid with my hair, which stinks because it's 3+ feet.

I know people who can practically do it in their sleep, but my normal non-french braids turn retarded halfway down. So maybe I just suck.
