A glue pistol? Seriously? How about, yanno, you learn to TIE your bowtie?

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

When you're a lady, you learn how to get blood out of anything....anything...

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

TIL there isn't a single stain that can be treated "when you feel like it"

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Put clothes you can wear in a few days or tomorrow if no one saw you today in a different pile on the floor than clothes that are too dirty.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

if its clean enough to wear again, its clean enough to be hung back up. with the hanger facing backwards, so i can tell it apart =)

My thoughts exactly...

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

If you lace your shoes like that you have zero style in my opinion. Or you're in 5th grade.

11 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 5

because all feet are the same and different ways of lacing shoes have no impact on how the shoe holds your feet.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Like which? There are so many ways!

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Who gives a damn about shoe laces anyway? I would only look at somebodies feet, if they were walkin around on signal horns or iguanas or sth

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

i somehow always manage to look at peoples feet. when the laces are cool or different, im just like "hey, wow. cool laces"

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I find that walking around on iguanas is the only way to travel

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If your button is loose...sew the freaking button back on tighter. It's not difficult.

11 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 2

Actually to re-secure a button when it pops off, you sew it on loosely. Not too loose but enough to where it can still move. I learned this

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

sew through two holes with one thread, then another thread for other two holes. 1 thread breaks, you have a back-up.

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I think this is the only genuinely useful tip here. Thanks!

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I just tie a simple knot for every stitch really, so they'd all have to break, or half of them or something at least

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The red wine/white wine trick has been proven not to work, and will only give you another yellowy stain on top...

11 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

i never have any wine left over anyways

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Right?! "no, no, don't drink that, that's for stains only..."

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

AA is for quitters!

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That flat iron trick works great on cloth belts too.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I prefer just ironing my shirts.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That was my first thought...when ironing the shirt you fix any and all wrinkles

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My husband and I never bought an actual iron haha

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Men who saw the suit one.. Black and blue/navy do not go together.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Save ur white wine, douse the red stain with salt while it's still wet it'll absorb all the red wine

11 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

why didn't you think of that, ya dingus? http://www.fusionmedstaff.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/for-your-health-o.gif

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This works on other problems in your life? Right?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know, why waste more wine when you already wasted it in the first place by spilling it on yourself?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

OxiClean has a powder that you add a scoop to every load of laundry..seriously, it works wonders! My son has explosive poops all the 1/2

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Oddly enough I have the oxyclean spray, and it doesn't work on the Orange poo, only the green kind (he's breastfed).

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, the spray sucks. Not sure why the powder is better when it's the same product/brand. But the powder always works on any color poo

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

time, and this stuff gets it out every time. Don't have to soak it or pre-treat the clothes, either :) 2/2

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I know this one's a myth so it casts doubt on eveything else in the post.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They are opposite wines so the theory is sound.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I have done this countless times. It has always worked to get the stain out for me!

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah I seem to remember someone tried this. It worked as well as the screen door in the submarine.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

on the other hand, there wouldn't in fact be any bugs flying around a flooded submarine, so...mission accomplished?

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

honestly, it always works for me. I soak it in white wine and add a baking soda paste to the stain. Has saved shirts, a white couch, carpet.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hmm. Maybe I'll do an experiment on something I'm not too attached to. Although I'm inclined to believe that the bacon soda is the real hero

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

>'bacon soda' If only.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacon_soda It's also a joke about a post that was on here yesterday. baking soda and bacon soda sound similar...

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd rather lose a shirt than waste perfectly good wine.

11 years ago | Likes 66 Dislikes 1

Exactly, that's the real kind of alcohol abuse.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Priorities are all in order here, move along.

11 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

That's just wasting even more wine.

11 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Proof that alcohol is both the cause and the solution to many problems

11 years ago | Likes 195 Dislikes 0

Simpsons did it first.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh Homer

11 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Well, alcohol is a solution...

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

It actually works. If you use detergents on wine it oxidates and leaves blue spots

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Does this work for several gallons of blood too?.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I hope so, or I'm in one hell of a fix.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Got a stain of red blood cells? Just pour some white blood cells on there, and it'll come right out!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

so, who fixed the albums opening in new tabs? Because thank fucking god.

11 years ago | Likes 1164 Dislikes 1

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

of course Sera.. (Sarah and her team) Thanks Sarah! methinks 100+ images still open in a new tab.. but that's purrfect!

@sarah Tell the team we said thanks.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It only opens in another tab if its >50 or 60 images IIRC

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There was a bug for a while that albums of all sizes were opening new tabs for a while. Even 11 image albums.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yea but that's like....your opinion... man

11 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Apparently you hadn't seen the bug the last couple of days where it wasn't behaving, then. Every album (even 1 more picture) was a new tab.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Men's wear: Wear any colour that suits you, as long as it's black, grey, navy or beige. If feeling a bit crazy, you may just pull off khaki.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

for those tiny belts that have the annoying end sticking out, tiny rubber hairties and similarly color sharpies are your friend.

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I have seen some women use sticky back velcro, affixed to the inside of the belt end. You can get thin velcro that will hide nicely.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

that is a brilliant idea o.o

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've soaked my life in red wine and I'm now trying white wine to fix it. So far? It's working pretty damned well.

You called a mysterious number and whabam!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Now tell me exactly what you did!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well the top button on my shirt is coming lose. So I went to corner store to buy some nail polish. But they don't carry beauty products

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So I went the pharmacy down the street. But some skin heads got suspicious and followed me. So I had to pass the store.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now the closest police station to my house is at the air port. So I headed there. But I got lost in the airport. But I also lost the nazis.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So I figured the little boutique at the airport would have some. They did, but it was super expensive. By this point I was tired

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I expect you to read all that and respond

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nowhere ;)

11 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

...but I kissed it on the mouth....afterwards

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

You misunderstood the section on Thaiing.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why is blood at the top of the stains list...?

11 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 4

Why ISNT semen on the list?

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

was not expecting all the replies about menstruation... but for real, blood is known as a difficult stain. we get bloody noses too ladies!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

.

11 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Heh. Nicely done. XD

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

cuz half the population a few days a month are like the movie Carry

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

More importantly where is semen stains!? Or is that considered sauces?

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Better homes and gardens is an Aussie home magazine... so yeah

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you have a blood stain (that is your own blood), spit on it before washing. There are enzymes in your spit that breaks down the blood!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

because even if you don't get periods there is still a chance that you'll get hurt somehow and get blood on your clothes

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

You're male, aren't you?

11 years ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 2

lol you got me. We don't like thinking about periods haha.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

instructions unclear. crushed by tank trying to layer

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Shirt on > get in tank > sweater on, hope this helps :3

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Um...I hang all of my t-shirts in my closet. I've been told this is strange...

11 years ago | Likes 171 Dislikes 2

As a female with many dresses and a small closet.. that doesn't really work for me.. I use my dresser only for jeans and tshirts

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

many dresses, woohoo!!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good man. It's WAY faster, easier to find the one you're looking for and they don't wrinkle.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why would it be strange?? I do this...they are the only thing I wear that wrinkles. Jeans are for folding and filing!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do the same thing. Ain't nobody got time to fold all that!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I threw my dresser away years ago and hang up everything. Except socks and underwear, i keep them in a little three drawer night stand.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hang mine too. Never use drawers to store them. Glad I'm not the only weirdo here :)

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My husband does this. And has a dresser full of empty drawerd. Makes me crazy.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So do I. I've never met someone IRL that actually folds their shirts. Folding is for bottoms only.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do too. Except my closet at college is teeny tiny and they don't all fit with all my dressy clothes.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

you should try the pop-tab trick. actually works really really really well.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe I will for next semester!!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, do. I got like 30 dresses to condense quite nicely. It doesnt work with plastic hangers though...

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have those, like, fuzzy ones? I think it'll be fine. I have a few plastic ones but they're holding coats and whatnot.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I did when I had half as many clothes. I still hang my favorites.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a lie. I just realized I have a wife and haven't done this since we started living together.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I also hang all my shirts. 100+ years old Boston houses, tiny storage. So I put some wire shelves in my room with hanging rods. Does the job

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I do that too, but I also have the semi-clean pile I delicately lay on the floor in the corner of my room.

11 years ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 0

+1 I just really like your username.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ah yes, the "worn once but not quite dirty" pile

11 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

This

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The technical term is floordrobe.

11 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

My semi-clean pile goes on the fancy gaming chair in my room. This is the only thing this chair is used for.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I have one of those fancy coat hangers that hangs on the back of the door in my closet for my semi-clean pile. Makes me seem super clean.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's generally not good to hang tees, but if they're just cheap ones then it doesn't really matter one bit.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Also I've hung some shirts on a rusty wire hanger, ruined the shirt, it got rust on it, I was drying the shirt. Careful with wet shirts

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe you should remove the rusty hangers from your closet? Just a thought.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah I thought that too, but I can't tell, I think the clean ones did it too ones. I should remove all wire hangers from there :) Thx!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

how is it bad for the tee?

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It can stretch them or create dimples in the shoulders. I wouldn't hang any of my silk or viscose tees, but thick cottons should be fine.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You own silk tees? WHAT THE HELL? WHY?

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Silk blends, none of them are 100% silk. I have a textile fetish.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't have very much clothing, so I hang everything besides shorts, leggings/sweatpants, workout clothes, and jammies.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I hang all mine up too

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Better than folding them like in this pic. You'll have a crease in the middle of your shirt all the time.

11 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

I hang everything except pj's and workout clothes.

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

It is. Unless you have a huge walk-in closet then it's just filthy rich.

11 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

I just have a normal closet, it's more than enough room to hang all my shirts, pants, jackets, sweaters, skirts, and dresses.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Same here. What else do people put in closets that would take up all the space? Weird haha.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Skeletons.

Er, as a college student nuh uh

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mostly wear t-shirts. Especially in college, my closet would have been empty without them.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

YAY!!! Hang ALL the t-Shirts!!! Maybe we should start a subreddit?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Nah it keeps them from getting wrinkled

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Seriously. It's not even jacket weather most nights right now.

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Only 3 layers? Fuck that I live in the UK

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Hahaha I had the same thought!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's Dec 12 and still shorts weather. I love this place.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Every time I check my bank account online I scream with rage and jealousy. The webpage has a temperature doohickey on it. 67 fuckin degrees.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm from Texas and that was my first thought. Three layers = heat stroke.

11 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

Also in Texas, however, I brave the 110 degree weather with two shirts and a hoodie all year. thug life

I just moved to AZ a week ago. Are people really staring at how pale I am the way I think they are?

11 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 1

I felt like that when I moved to Tucson. I have less color since I've lived here than I did living in CO. Summer = stay inside.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

No. Lots of us just never go outside.

11 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

i live in florida, and most peoples reaction when they find out is O.O "WHAA??????"

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As an Irishman living in Arizona, I too maintain a milky complection.

11 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

The queen moved to Arizona?

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I live here and I'm pretty pale. We come in pale and hyper-tan. A lot of us live indoors here :)

11 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 2

There is no between colour? :P

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

*whew*

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That or you think it's really warm here compared to where you're from so you're dressed in summer gear, when we're dressed for fall-ish. :)

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It's December and we're dressed for "fall-ish." :(

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Ya, at first I said that we were all bundled up, but then I realized I had yoga pants and a long sleeved shirt on. Hahaha. #TwoSeasonsWhat

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just moved to AZ and I've had numerous people tell me I look like I am in my teens! I think it's because I'm really white lol.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've been here 2 months and I'm still worrying about that

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

You assume I have extra room on my belt to make a knot

11 years ago | Likes 1418 Dislikes 3

That would also ruin the belt, so..

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

XD that's exactly what I though.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

do you knot?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Imagine having a sudden diarrhea with a knotted belt

11 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 1

Most people knot their belts that are high on the waist. Not the belts holding up your pants

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I love you

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Oh stop it you

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

If i ever see anyone with a belt tied in a fashion that leaves the buckle redundant im going to assume they are mentally challenged...

11 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

I agree, the D-ring one is horrible. it looks bad and THATS NOT HOW YOU USE A DAMN BELT!

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Hair elastic used as a belt loop? Bloody brilliant if all else fails.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And why would you want a large lump of knotted belt on your stomach? That seems epically uncomfortable.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I literally have a belt that could fit two of me in it at one time if it had to.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As someone who handmade a Link costume... fuck belts. Never again.

11 years ago | Likes 100 Dislikes 2

No one made you do that and you could have stopped at any time... Wait, did someone make you do that?

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 64

You never stopped to ask just why every Link has roughly the same outfit? Hylian sweat shops shanghai people for labor all the time, man.

11 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 3

Do you have any pics of it? (I almost asked for a link before I realized it was a pun)

get professional photos of it and post them. 2/2

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Do it

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why didn't you ask for a link??? I'm not angry, I'm just disapponted.

11 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 4

"Link?" Looks like I don't know who Link is an it's a bad, overused pun that would get me multiple replies with links to Link pictures.Link.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dear guys - The belts shown are generally tied around your waist, not your pants. That's why there is extra, to create interesting knots.

11 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

...so it's totally redundant as a belt as well as looking crap...

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

some dresses and shirts look ridiculous unless they are gathered somewhere, and a belt at the waist turns a sack into an A-line

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I have just enough to buckle it. Who buys a belt 2 sizes too big, and how are there that many holes?

11 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

I assume it's for girly fashion belts that don't actually sit in belt loops

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Female belts almost always have like half of the belt hanging off :(
