If I want the strongest CP pokemon, do I have to evolve from base form? Or does it make no difference to catch it in final evolution?

Every pokemon encountered has hidden "Internal Values" (atk, def, sta) that don't change even when you evolve them. This determines max CP.

If you catch a final evolution with a full CP bar its just as good as if you evolved it yourself.

The ??? Means its above what you can normally catch at your level, they are usually pretty hard to catch expecially a Charizard.

Best way I've found to offset the random curve is to throw a curve ball on purpose. Seems to offset the "difficulty" of the pokemon.

A trick I use it I swipe down / away from a Pokemon in a straight line followed by a steady swipe up. Think of a bowling ball pitch.

It was supposed to be 20 km per hour, not miles. Which is about on point with the 300 m/60 sec, which converts to about 18 kph or 11mph.

At my fittest in the military I was doing 5km in 18 min. Which averages 240m a minute. How far are you running at this speed?

Yes but if you think about the game, theres no point in running 300m full speed if you die after that of exhaustion. Youll never hatch eggs.
