It's not a zombie storm trooper

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The saber should turn off, not stay in place active

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Some sabers have blade locks, like yoda in episode 3 when he kills the clones on kashyyk

Reminds me of my storm trooper mod for left 4 dead 2

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But the phase one troopers did nothing to provoke a jedi attack!

Ever heard of the book 'Death Troopers'?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah, it is pretty good.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No I haven't why?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Basically Zombies in Star Wars.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'll have to go pick it up

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is a NICE Cosplay, There wouldn't be blood due to cauterization, I would have just put some intense burns.

Explain this

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Well, can't argue with that. *shrug* haha

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah but I decided to use first episode, where there's actually blood when dismembered, before they made it cauterize

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I support you trooper!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

cauterization isn't perfect. look at burn victims. still bleeding, just a lot less.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

True

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wouldn't it eventually slide out?

9 years ago | Likes 211 Dislikes 5

yea, basically. unless it has 0 weight, which isn't the case.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's what she said

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yes it's just there for effect

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Want to win? Put a severed hand on it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The saber handles required a certain amount of pressure to keep the blade ignited. There shouldn't be a saber at all.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

If that were true then they shouldn't be able to throw their sabers

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Some lightsabres were designed with triggerlocks, allowing them to be dangerously locked active.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They could use the force to apply the pressure to the handle to activate the blade. This was complex and difficult and required a lot of

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Concentration

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

fun fact: light sabers require effort to cut things, and they also have a "dull" and "sharp" edge because of how they harness the crystal(1)

9 years ago | Likes 156 Dislikes 6

You explained this wonderfully

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Does it count as fact if you cant falsify it?

energy. They work essentially like a chainsaw of energy, it's why they lock together when two contact each other, and while cutting thick(2)

You frikin nerd. I like you.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wont it burn around inside the wound while gravity pulls the handle down, and in that way eventually fall out?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nerd

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You said it's a chainsaw but then you said it's a sword o.o riddle me that batman

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

1. the energy moves through it kind of like a chainsaw, coming from the hilt and arcing back to the point of origin. When i say it's like a

That's cool and all. But like all cool things in SW, I doubt that it's still Canon

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

Or the dumb things. Don't forget all the really really dumb things that blessedly are no longer Canon.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

You can see them taking a ton of effort to cut a blast door with a lightsaber in the movies.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it technically is not, no. i got my info from a legends wiki. I like to think of it as canon, a lot of expository stuff just disappeared

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Even the old canon was wrong, it's factually incorrect to call them "laser swords" like Lucas said they were. Science knows no canon
