Water and power in Australia was privatised in the last 10 years. Result is poorer service and far far more expensive.

Really? It's always been private in America. The water quality has to meet government standards, but the taste is really dependant on region

Yea all of which is regulated by the government; there’s also the USPS, HUD, FAA, fda and a little thing called subsidies
