Custom Vans

These are a pair of vans I got to design and paint for a contest hey held, didn't win but I thought I could share with you guys! Sorry I don't have more progress photos, the deadline came up and I started rushing to get them finished.

I attempted to make the paintings melt into each other to make it flow nicely.

I tried to go from older pieces in front to more modern on the heel. It was hard to get so much detail on a hard to work surface and a small one at that!

I had the lace holes be paint tubes so that the laces would be paint coming out, you can see the pencil where I was determining the colors.
