Cold-blooded does not mean that body temp = ambient temp. Only that it's influenced by ambient. Insulation could help retain muscle warmth.

Ectotherms' body temp relies on outside temp that's why heating pads are in tanks. So maybe if it was warmed up? Like in a dryer it would.
