I made a "swineapple" a bit like that once, it was fantastic.

Mm. Reminds me of home. My pops used to do this all the time... you're doing gods work... and I don't even believe in god

I think BBQ is classified as a religion in several states! Need to look into that! LOL

Tell me more about this "bacon and pineapple wrapped pork"

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Aka "swineapple." Youtube it and you'll find recipes. Seasoned tenderloin stuffed in a pineapple w/ bacon weave. Hawaiian glaze over top.

Ya'll going to have some greens with that?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I usually leave that up to the wife, she likes making the veggies. But for me, they are a nice table decoration. :)

You can smoke mac and cheese? Like, I know of smoked cheddar but wow

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes you can, if your smoker can get up to higher temps. I smoke my mac n chz at 350 for an hour, similar to baking it at the same temp.

Bet that smoked turkey is bomb as fuckkkk

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It really was. I injected it with a butter garlic mixture. I did a 28lb turkey for Thanksgiving! Was crazy-good. Surprised myself, 2B honest

Thank you. Means a lot being my 1st yr smoking. Still a lot to learn n try, but very passionate about it!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is the only kind of smoking I approve of heh. Keep it up! Wish I could taste test! But pics will suffice.

Faved and not forgotten!

Am I the only person concerned about the pork tender line?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I find the lines of the pork to be the most tender part ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Obviously a typo, Siri sucks! LOL And I haven't found the edit button yet, this is my first post.

Those ribs look amazing!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you. :) My recipe uses a sweet rub, mustard, worcestershire, brown sugar, honey, apple juice, and bbq sauce. 3-2-1 method (6hr smoke).

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yum! I bet everything is super delish. Do you make all the traditional sides as well or just stick to the BBQ?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My wife tends to take care of the non-smoked sides and desserts. We love making people happy through food at our family parties. :)

invite me next time. i'm uh, your wife's 5th removed cousin

May I come to dinner? I make a pretty mean cornbread casserole

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I never turn anyone away! Typically make double of what I need so people can take some home! I even buy restaurant-style carry-out boxes! :)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Whhooo! Looks delicious!

Didn't know you could smoke mac and cheese. Good thing I have a smoker. I'll have to give that a whirl the next time I smoke.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

After I mix it, I smoke it on 350° for one hour. Boil the noodles for 1-2 minutes less than what the box recommends or else they r mushy.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So in my next smoking adventure, there's probably going to be mac and cheese now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3J5XfnjvwY

Also, any tip on getting what looks like really moist brisket? When I made brisket it wasn't dry, but didn't look as good as yours.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Might just have been quality of cut, guess I'll find out next month when I go for my next attempt.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My guess is the quality of meat. I had a couple that turned out dry when I went cheap. When I spent more $ and got nicer quality, perfect...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also, I don't cook by time, I go by internal temp. I cook brisket to 190° internal temp. Webber iGrill device is awesome, bluetooth too!
