No. You can't add more story to an existing foundation, if it wasn't prebuild to carry the additional weight. It would tip over to one side.

Yup, we have a couple buildings like this where I live. Happens after they demo an adjoining building.

It was a party wall, once structures around it got demolished the remaining brickwork was probably fukd, they've done a good job. Funky

The stone wall is part of the newer wall, so even if the rest of the building was demolished, the old wall is part of the remaining one.
