I talked someone I knew into not buying a cybertruck. Still showed their colors as a complete moron and got drummed out of all the circles we shared a little while ago. Turns out that you can take the idiot out of the dumpster, but you can't make them think.
I appreciate that this moron was kind enough to include the cybertruck in the background to let everyone know they didn't have to worry that he'd injured any brain cells with that concussion.
It's like this episode, except instead of the CEO having a dipshit brother, the CEO cut out the middle man and just took on the role of dipshit himself.
One of the few I've seen had a decal for a roofing company on it. Would you trust that person to work on the literal roof over your head? Smart business move buddy
It not about the look. Its about association. Kind of like sports jerseys. Some are horrendous, other have terrible color coordination or cannot be match with any pants. But people do not buy and wear them to look good. It about showing showing support, letting others know what you are about.
There can be no greater demonstration of spite than doing impractical and self-harmful things just because your enemies advise you against it, especially if it's out of their genuine desire for your wellbeing. And there can be no greater demonstration of fealty to a fascist leader than doing the same because they ask it of you.
Except they have taken even a step behind that, what we have seen at this point, which is when people that love them and want good things for them, like Healthcare and clean air, advise them of these things and they do exactly as you describe.
There was a time when a bunch of dudes with more money than sense, and a lack of emotional development, saw a truck that a renegade rich dude promoted, and it looked like something their inner 9-year-old self would have thought was totally rad, and since their inner 9yo writes the checks for their weird life, and they don't know how to learn from bad decisions, a whole new economy was born.
What gets me is those things ain't cheap. Assuming the axe dude actually bought it I just find it really mentally hard to square such idiocy with having enough money to make that purchase. Maybe he has rich parents..
There are 4 wankpanzer owners in my town, watching them drive and how they park makes it painfully clear just how stupid they are. One of the four claims to regret being locked into it, early donater can't sell it Yada Yada. Don't personally believe him, but mebbe worth mentioning.
CrumbyCake
Just missed its mark.
LiarLiarPantsUntier
Would the brain damage from an axe undo the brain damage from buying a cybertruck or does it stack? (I’d say stack)
woozle
diezl97
I was expecting the axe to bounce yes but also expecting it was going to smash the dumpster behind him.
aoshistark
The cyber truck gave away the ending before I even clicked on the video.
johnvictor
The real question, why was he trying to chop a yoga ball in half? Was this some anti woke thing his feeble little mind thought of or something?
mercswar
Was hoping the axe bounced back and broke the trucks windshield
Becker37
Why do these people have so much money
Cosmicfisherman
That goes to show you people! The penance for buying a cybermuck is high
thegoldeneaglect
I mean come on, there's a cyber truck in the background of the shot so we know the guy makes poor life choices
Navrodel

Rihn
I thought he was about to reveal a huge bump in his forehead. As if he also had that experience.
FlintNorth44
Did someone say Cybercuck
MissWhiteRabbit
Yup pretty much
dogmatix
Also - why the fuck have they parked the blue car SIDEWAYS in the drive?! Just to do my head in?
MapleSyrupMafia
To stop the WankPanzer from rolling down the street.
DoctorSciencePothead
I appreciate that this moron was kind enough to include the cybertruck in the background to let everyone know they didn't have to worry that he'd injured any brain cells with that concussion.
SinfulDeviant
Oh, you mean a WankPanzer
Grimlinnan
NaziWagon and an idiot. Darwin is at work here.
YippeeKayakOB
Clearly, there is something wrong with that yoga ball. He should throw it in the dumpster behind him.
Apeofdeath
Judging by the car he drives, he may be an idiot
baldbear
So, nothing's changed.
OldBikerDude
He must have done that before he agreed to buy the Nazitruck
ZySoua
He has a Cybertruck, it’s not like he has anything in that head of his that would get damaged anyway…
RobBobertyYT
Good thing he didn't hit the cybertruck. It might have exploded.
FlintNorth44
No, no...let it explode.
Randomice
Okay, I chuckled.
ConsummateConundrum
Might I recommend this one next time
Macetheace50
The handle is too short ... for Full Effect!
stryhf
Less gore, more precise!
billyrayvirus
I had a relarive that caught one of those on a clothesline.
baldbear
Something WILL get chopped...
jackohill108888
Good thing there's nothing inside that skull that could get damaged.
ironymus
Not anymore
blevins113
Probably made a sound like thumping a hollow log
noReallyIamPrincessBob
Wow, I can’t believe he’s still upright after that hit.
Humputse
Their head is hollow, nothing critical was damaged.
TheMayo16
I watched it a few times i thibk the head of the axe might have just missed his head, instead the handle cracked him, still sucks but not as bad
pfunk81
This. The head would have caved his skull in and killed him. Collision mechanics is a real thing.
Steffn
Looks like he just staged the whole thing.
MungChomper69420
So did he split his skull in twain?
WateryTartan
Maybe. It will certainly leave a mark.
BeardedViking
Unfortunately, it was only the shaft that hit him.
GravyEducation
'E split Robin's arrow in twain!
boostcreep
MungChomper69420

I know people can have strange tastes, but it still blows my mind that anyone can look at a Cybertruck and think "I gotta have that!"
riphenstone
I was never a fan but, compared to how it looks in person, it looked a lot cooler at launch.
Mack1986
One in my.neighborhood. I see him inky every few weeks, usually walking my dog. I stop and point and laugh everytime. Fuck that guy

I think it has to do more with what it represents to them, and that they want people to know. And they know we know what it represents.
jjw9
Trying to chop a yoga ball with an axe can cause the necessary brain damage 😄
RemingtonStyle
I don't disagree - then, on the other Hand, there's the Fiat Multipla to put things into perspective
Otomasoteraph
It explain the "chopping the yoga ball" too
popejubal
I’m cool with six year olds who want a car that will match their drawings.
Isorikk
They like the attention, they don't care why
DippinDerps
I guess they like things are part way loaded in game/real life lol
BatmanAndCradleRobin
I know I am in a minority, I think it looks cool in photos, in person parked it looks hideous though driving not so bad. Absolute shit vehicle though.

intashu
Same people who probably bought a H2 hummer. More money than sense for an impractical vehicle.
kraeftig
The fairly neat looking front end is completely wasted on the preschool car drawing-esque rest of the ugly dumpster machine
MassiveKy
They don't. They go "Hah! The liberals will hate this"

i briefly was interested as a nerd that saw a possible new age delorean, but then reality hit like a sledgehammer. or a baseball.
