Hi dudes. Just a friendly reminder that if you are ordering Gorgonzola cheese the mold is supposed to be there.
Posting this on behalf of the owner of the pizza place on ground floor of my apartment building who makes delicious pizzas
Don't be like that lady who threw a Tantrum because there was some mold on her "4 formaggi" pizza (pizza topped with 4 delicious different cheese kinds) and then refused to take even a single bite.
If you are in doubt... just ask.

Another PSA... if you are allergic to penicillin you may also be allergic to gorgonzola and your mom will forget to tell you until too late

THANK YOU! i have penicillin allergy and never know Gorgonzola had mold. I will have to be more carefull at work trying things.

I don't know if I'm allergic to penicillin; had a huge anaphyllactic shock as a kid but tests made 5 years later revealed nothing.

I eat blue cheese and not die so I guess not, but I always notify "possible allergy to penicillin" to the doc just in case.

Can't they just give you a dose of the stuff and then see what happens to make sure?

They did and nothing happened, so no idea why the shock. Docs were like "dunno, maybe a combination of thhings". So I just try to avoid it.
