Star Wars Falcon comparison '96 - '16
When I was a kid I bought a Millenium Falcon toy for $7 at a sporting goods store back in the mid 90's. just bought another for the X Wing Miniatures game. Comparing the two models to see the accuracy and differences.

I would say no, since there's no air to push the smoke straight back, where it would be flying most of the time in space.

Even in space, anything that would cause such a reaction relative to forward momentum would make them all face the same way.
