Freshly painted Tyranids, or: How I tore up an old model and started over

After about 5 years, I stepped up my model building skill. This is ol' Blender Face; a name what strikes fear into the hearts of anyone what hears it.

This is what it used to look like, early on in the hobby. I thought it was a job well done. I was wrong.

**This character pops out of the ground for snacks. Think Tremors. Those barbed things on the side of is face act as pressure-sensors because this dick nose is blind. So why does it have eyes?

Before and after breaking, reassembling and painting. Found some parts online at a decent cost, as if I didn't spend enough hard earned dough on plastic crack.
