Kitten needs your help to walk again

This is Jack, one of my best friend's newest rescue kitties. Four days ago, he had an accident. I got home from work, and everyone was in the kitchen looking worried, so I asked what had happened. Jackie Boy here had been climbing the curtains and fell.

But don't cat's land on their feet?

Oh yeah, totally. Except when they have no depth perception because they lost an eye to infection at 3 weeks. You'd think he'd accept this limitation and be a ground kitty. NOPE!

Despite his monocular vision (We would have called him Odin, but he's missing the wrong eye,) he's actually remarkably good at chasing things. [i]THINGS{/i]. Though his little sister uses his weakness to great advantage.

I've never seen a cat run into so many walls as she gets him to slam into going full tilt. He never learns.

He's kind of a butthead. He's not mean about it, but he tends to hog things, like feathers, and ALL THE CATNIP. Seriously. I can give everyone a pile, he wolfs his down and then goes on to the next. No fighting, no hissing, just OMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM, while the other cat looks on in horror and besmirchedness.

I think he would be smart enough for Hogwarts, he memorizes how high things are, and once he's gone up and down from furniture a few times he's got it down. The curtains were his downfall though.

He even knows the secret to everything. Style! Because Bowties totally are cool!

Long story short, we, or rather, my friends, need help, and lots of it. Jack needs major surgery, and soon. My friends can't afford the hip replacement on their own.

Something about where the bone broke means that they can't just put a screw in. They need a specialist to come in and replace the joint entirely.
