My biggest problem when i started was rushing in. Take your time and try to fight 1 on 1 as much as possible. You get better fast.

Baiting an enemy into attacking and backstepping out of range works wonders.Also practice that roll, get a feel for the invincibility frames

Farram set is actually fairly light, but it does signify a shield turtling newbie in pvp (especially in ds2) so it is an easy shield break

I used that gear in 1 of my (fashion) PvP builds and it is actually pretty legit. Looks good and protects good IMO. And i fast-roll with it.
