Look at the bike lanes in Denmark, they work amazingly, and Will wreck a cars suspension/wheels, if they drive onto the bike lanes

Unfortunately in the US we have so many roads that adding bike lanes to all like that would be astronomically expensive.

Which is why most folks drive cars here in the US rather than take that risk. Many cyclists not following rules only complicates it.

You'll cross-ish the intersection, and then you'll turn your bike to cross the intersection again, facing the Way you want to go!
