We're a couple of properly documented (legal) immigrants living in USA. Today I found this note in my mailbox. We met this friendly lady in Halloween while trick-or-treating. When we told her we were from Mexico, she told us about her trips to Latin America and we had a nice chat.
In theory our immigration situation won't be affected, but I can't deny we've been having some anxiety after some of the recent events. A very nice detail from our neighbor...

Not really because we both transferred (separately) within our companies.

Without corporate sponsorship it is very hard. Even familial sponsorship is difficult.

We were born in middle class families. We went to private schools and college. Our reality is not that of the 50+ million living in poverty

Again, not for me but the company has spent $25-30k in lawyers, fees, etc. I have to go back every year to renew my Visa,so I pay for travel
