This was such an enlightening experience for me. I legitimately never thought I was capable of building a motorcycle, so the thought never really crossed my mind... until I met my fiance's dad, Jan. Now, motorcycles have become such a huge part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm now looking forward to starting on my XS750 after college.

Also, I've done 6+ hours at 85mph on a fully naked bike sitting straight upright. With a headwind. Still prefer it to a faired bike.

You're not sitting upright on a cafe racer. I used to have a cb750 and after a few hours of riding my neck was in pieces

Oh, all that stuff is easy to find online. Ehh, it was hard to find engine parts and such for the 175. A 350 would be easier.

What do you mean by that? It's 175cc so it'll get to 60 mph alright. It's not meant to be a racer, more of a ride for fun bike.

Yea, they're excellent bikes. You can usually find one used depending on condition anywhere from a few hundred to about $5k.

Occasionally, something small will go wrong with the carbs or something. No significant break downs in over a year now.
