Adventure Guide: Yosemite National Park

Glacier Point

Best view point to see Half Dome.
Short hike to a viewing area.
If you feel daring, there are cliffs behind the viewing area that you can go to. (obviously not allowed) but you will get the best photos and experience on the cliffs. (Best during sunrise)

On the way to Glacier point you are able to stop here and get this simlar shot or just ride the curve with a long/skateboard.
(Drive up)

Taft Point

This view point is a must!
A longer hike than Glacier Point (about 1.5/2 miles) but we'll worth it.
Definitely my favorite spot for sunset photos. Cliffs here are easily accessible. Be careful where you step

The amount of adrenalin you get when you sit on a edge of a cliff that's 3000+ from the valley floor. (Also at Taft Point)

After Tunnel View

To get to this spot drive past tunnel view and past the long tunnel. There will be a place to park on the side of the road. Climb down the wall and explore the area. Barely any people go to this spot, not really family friendly.

Tunnel View

One of the more touristy spots. Even though there's a lot of people you'll still be able to get an amazing view! You can Bridel Veil Falls, El Capitan, Half Dome, Valley Floor.
(No hike just drive up)

Valley View

Drive up spot on the valley floor. Just one of those quick stops.

Lower Yosemite Falls

Really popular spot with the tourists, you can see why! If you want to avoid random people getting in your shot then try getting closer to the falls. Best time to go is early morning! Less people. To forget to get a glimpse of the whole Yosemite falls.
(Short walk to the falls viewing area)
(There is a hike to upper Yosemite Falls)

Bridal Veil Falls

On the way back from Tunnel View and the spots in that area, make a quick stop at this water fall. Really short hike and just a nice waterfall to look at and get photos of! During the more dryer seasons in yosemite. The water fall is mostly dried out and your able to hike up close to it.

Vernal Falls

Best hike in the park, at least I think so. It's a fun hike, kinda long but worth it! Go a little after sunrise to avoid a lot of people.

Mirror Lake

Best time to go here is during sunrise. You'll get the best reflections during that time and not much people. (about a 45min hike, don't really remember)

Cat Tax
