Isn't there a superstition about this?

Went with the kids to the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, in San Diego. The grounds are enormous (with over 101k grave markers) and as we were walking the grounds and paying our respects, this massive crow sauntered among the headstones and perched on them, squawking the whole time. I am not superstitious, but a single crow is an omen of death right?
It didn't occur to me until hours after I took this photo, that we narrowly avoided getting in a severe car accident that likely would have killed me (high speed, driver side impact. The guy was going way over the speed limit and swerved at the last moment).

He perched on the headstone and was tearing apart some manner of rodent.
