what if when you kill everyone and go back to a previous save, any npc that you didn't kill remembers what happened but is quite out of fear

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And then BAM, dragon lands in village wiping out most of the guards, while you stand idly by watching in joy and pleasure.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I wish i go back in time and spend another year only playin skyrim this game is my jam i would buy it now on ps4 but dam the price is high!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I just bought it again for xbox and its fantastic. The memories

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Casually say"Hey I know you" guy literally fucking says "I don't have time for this, do you?". Fuck it, let him be some other guards problem

10 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

I like to say to myself "NO YOU DON'T!" And just sprint away because I know I should probably be executed for what I've done.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

I am reading this in the voice that all the guards have, you know that thick Nordic accent...

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

i tell you Bruce, this guy keeps running off the end of the stairs after he visits the Jarl, every fucking time! somethings up.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is just fucking great

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lost it at "standing outside belethors" because I have done that so many times in my playthroughs

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Talos guide you. +1

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Have bad dreams of adventurer murdering everyone in city. Pass it off as just bad cheese before bed.

10 years ago | Likes 139 Dislikes 0

I haven't seen this one, and it almost made me spit out my food. My vote is up!!!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

literally.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is fucking fantastic.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Approximately 149 daggers? That's an awfully specific approximation.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Base 10 is just as arbitrary as any other numerical system. 149 is no more or less specific than 150. They are just numbers.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Guy studied math for 5 plus years to give you this answer. Better give him some DAMN resPECT.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This made me laugh so hard

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hahahahahahaha omg i laughed at this more than i should

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Carl! Come-over here. See that adventurer over there? Yeah, the one with the black armor. Go tell him rent was due and we hawked his shit."

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks for making my morning.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If I won the lottery and bought a mansion, I'd spend all my time in one room playing Skyrim and looking at imgur

10 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

You can do that outside of your work hours. Thats 16 hours skyimgurim a day

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

You dont need a mansion, just a hole in the ground and some electricity.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Taking an arrow to the knee actually means settling down, but other than that, this was great.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I lost it after the but about waiting outside Belethor's

He also became the Arch-Mage of the Winterhold College out of nowhere, even though my father-in-law Sergius has 20 years seniority.

10 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

(And is known throughout Skyrim as a master enchanter who gives back by offering his services at a decent rate instead of hoarding items.)

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Hey. I give dragon bones away for free because i cba finding someone who can afford it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The parenthetical part was talking about Sergius.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did you just rise from the dead? So close to christmas? ARE YOU THE MESSIAH?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Whiterun problems.

10 years ago | Likes 412 Dislikes 0

I need to ask you to stop! That... shouting... is making people nervous.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Let me guess. Someone stole your sweet roll

10 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 0

The security in Whiterun is terrible. Shameful is what it is.

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

No lollygaggin'

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Move on,elf

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You know, I always wondered who called the Dark Brotherhood on the dragonborn. I suppose a confused guard works.

10 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 0

Usually it's whoever you pissed off. Hired thugs carry a note telling you who it was, so I assume there's a trigger to make them call the DB

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Most annoying part about the assasdins/thugs is if you figure out who sent them, you can't even confront them about it :/

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think the dark brotherhood went after the dragonborn for the whole aventus thing

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Yeah you stole a kill from the Brotherhood and Astrid makes you pay it back, then y'all are cool.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This happens even before you do that quest (currently playing through again, it just happened and I haven't been to Windhelm yet).

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Any assassin sent always has a note which says who requested it. It's always someone you stole from who requests the assassination.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

I never remember stealing from an npc but I still get the assassins

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, my bad. I was sleep deprived. It's thugs that come after you. Assassins are a random event.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dark Brotherhood notes are signed by Astrid. They usually say "someone wants this poor fool dead."

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Really? All the notes in my play-throughs never mentioned identity. Did I just miss something all these years?

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I think I remember there wad a name on the note but I had no idea who it was anyway.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The note wasn't on the body of a Dark Brotherhood Assassin then, it was probably some random thug.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No the dark brotherhood assassin notes just say kill "Player name". They do not have the name of the person who put out the contract.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That's only for thugs. Dark brotherhood Assassins notes don't contain the name of the contractor.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I did the Dark Brotherhood contract to kill Betild, but after killing her, I looted her house and then she sent guards after me. And my 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

friend pickpocketed a Briarheart's Briarheart and he died instantly but then had thugs sent after him a day later sent by the briarheart2/2

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Sorry, my bad. You are right indeed.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If they make the elder scrolls into a movie I hope the main character is some npc who's life was just shattered as a byproduct of the story.

10 years ago | Likes 3885 Dislikes 4

I think that the main protagonist should be a kid that has lost his dad and he has to go find the dad best plot k80 perry/80

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

That GD chicken.......

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Dovahkiin's three brothers were killed in the war and a select group is sent to find him and bring him back home to his mother

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There is a College Humor skit similar to this.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*whose

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Dang.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Like Monty Pythons, Life of Brian

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd rather see a GOT style television series

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's actually not a bad idea.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rosenpcrantz and Guildengaurd are dead

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

if you like that sort of ground-level view and you're also into comics, read "Marvels" by Kurt Busiek. it's a miniseries from the 1990s

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's the guard and shows his entire life up to getting married (arrow in the knee) and how his cousin was out fighting dragons, up (1/2)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

until he goes to strike up a chat with the local hero and gets murdered immediately by him. (2/2)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*chopping wood* *dragonborn sprints through on a horse being followed by a dog, 12 guards, 3 wolves, a bear and a dragon* *beasts 1)

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I second this notion!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Definitely Sanguines questline is worthy of a movie

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually, a detailed monologue like this would probably make a stellar youtube video. Get a good voice actor, and a decent editor.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Hahaha. People are talking about movies, and TV series, and your suggestion? a YOUTUBE VIDEO. XD

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 8

Well, you're right those would all be waaaaaay better. Just trying to push for something we know could realistically be done now.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

To be fair, lore junkies like the shoddycast have done amazing work with TES lore

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I really think video game adaptations would be better served as mini-series instead of movies.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If they made an anime they could pretty much make it overlord with a sky rim skin

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Or a PC that actually does what the player does for obscene arcane reasons

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Either that, or one of the lesser used companions. "Dude, I've followed him everywhere, and I've got some tales to share..."

Lydia

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Would be better as a TV show I think. 1 hour episodes, GoT/Vikings level production

10 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 1

Agreed. With a world like this, you need to do justice to the lore, and a movie probably wouldn't be enough.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

or make the movie as a collection of short stories set in around the universe. kinda like the animatrix

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I would be down with this, especially if they go to Animatrix route and never actually involve the main character (except tangentially).

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

well, you might not even have to use the main character. use the old lore, or the tales in the universe, or personal stories playing it.

Translating all that lore and story into a movie would be so fucking hard. I'm game.

10 years ago | Likes 141 Dislikes 0

what about a world war z (book) esque miniseries? each episode following one character, loosely chronological

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People will claim it's a GoT rip off, I guarantee it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The key is to focus on characters and only include relevant lore. Trying to fit a world into a movie is dumb, that requires sequels.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I figure they can take some shortcuts by making a movie about Tiber becoming Talos (with the main character

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

being a follower like in 13th Warrior). Some guy/chick telling the tale of Talos firsthand. Even Berenziah

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

could the storyteller or even make the movie about her. Like bicentennial man with robin williams.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But Talos is possibly the fusion of three souls (Hjalti Early-Beard, Ysmir Wulfharth and Zurin Arctus) into an oversoul over decades.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or like five centuries if you count the Warp in the West.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now I kinda wonder how the WitW dragon break would translate to TV... Rick and Morty style, perhaps?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're game to see TES thoroughly sodomized?

10 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 2

More then Bethesda is doing right now? Can't be that bad

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

please no

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think the heart and soul of TES is so enrapturing that if a well made screen adaptation was coming out I'd lose my shit.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure there are mods for specifically that.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If it's going to be another eragon disaster they shouldn't even bother.

10 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 1

What Eragon disaster? The books were great! I can't wait for the movie, if they ever release one.

10 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

I hope they'll be good!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Precisely.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Lord of the Rings did alright, and it arguably had more lore than TES

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

LOTR was unique in that the film maker had way more say over production than modern studios would allow. Plus the audience is different...

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

TES has a younger base demographic, LOTR was every fantasy buffs fav book for about 90 years. The film would have to meet the demo.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

4 books, and 1 gigatome and somehow TES do actually have more lore, and more intricate at that

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Technically 10 books: The Lord of the Rings is 6 books, The Hobbit, The Book of Lost Tales, The Children of Hurin, and the Silmarillion.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

remember, TES has had 5 games with large amounts of lore for each area.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They should do a show series, like game of thrones does.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Watch Shoddycast's videos on TES lore. They don't make any new characters, but it's a pretty good series

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Agreed, they'd certainly have a wide variety of cultures to work with.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A youtube series at the very least

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Not again."

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The POV of an unimportant character that always seems to be in the same spot. "I'll walk to Helgen *dragon*"

10 years ago | Likes 675 Dislikes 2

The few POVs I've seen have had less than stellar camera work, and gave me headaches. I avoid POV feature films.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I mean it more of like a narrated movie through his/her/attack helicopter's perspective. POV was a quick way to say it.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

POV is my favorite after all.

10 years ago | Likes 164 Dislikes 2

Except in Hardcore Henry. God, that was shit. Like almost everything Machinima makes.

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

Hardcore Henry was *the shit. Nothing amazing. No grand plot or anything. But holy fuck it's a fun ride.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I liked that movie, no blockbuster or anything, but it was a fun movie.

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0
