Honestly, punching a known nazi who was holding a sign saying he hates a subset of the population that's an anagram for gingers shouldn't be a crime. The cops should have said "oh right, it's OUR job to protect people from actual nazis like Jake Lang, thanks Spider-Man" and taken his sign away and thrown him in a cell.
