My great grandfather's social security card

So my great grandfather died back in the 70s, and I was recently talking with my uncle about his expoits in WWI. Turns out he fought in the Battle of the Somme, which was pretty awesome. Anyway, my uncle gave me some of my great grandfather's stuff to keep, including his social security card, which has to have been one of the first ever issued. It was frigging stamped in metal, like a license plate, and totally amazing to hold.

(Please don't steal my great grandfather's identity. He doesn't need it but it wouldn't be nice.)

The other item was his soldier's bible, a miniature book of psalms and readings for a man to carry into battle. There was a little sealed pocket to store religious icons.

My great grandfather was an MP. This is his armband.
