We used to range 3-5 miles a day when my male husky was younger. He could have kept going easily. I was the one dragging ass by the end.

That doesn't sound much for a breed like husky, or? Me and my cavalier do about 10-12km (6-7.5 mi) per day (2 or 3 walks) if it's not hot.

How old is too old for dog socialization, mine has had it but I think he needs some more, I don't have a ton of nearby friends with dogs.

Never too old, but do it with both dogs on lead. 3-sec nose/butt sniff, then "lets go" remove the two. Start again
