Wow those look Luke Bucky balls. As sphere magnets they are a pain in the ass to get to form cubes. This must have taken for ever.

The Bucky Cubes are just as annoying. Doable, but still.

It's really easy to make them into cubes - you just don't try to do it one at a time. Pull them into a string by breaking away errant loops. Once you have that you can close the loop and pinch it together. From there you can break/fold those paired pieces to make smaller blocks or sheets that fold together easily.
