I wish negative news were "potentially (haha as if)", and my positive news were "done". Who do they think they are fooling? Me. Why do I even bother?

So now we get to see how many democrat traitors are kn the House too.

Waiting to see how much altering Trump's DOJ/FBI and Musk's puter gurus did to the files.

That vote won't happen until he can cancel out her vote with a Republican who is OK with raping children. But I repeat myself.

Just means they are done hiding the evidence they wanted.

Here's what to expect: Discharge petition to force the bill to the rules committee, rules committee sends the bill to a vote, the bill passes the house. The senate can then choose to pass their own version (or the same version) of the bill, or to just... not do anything. If they pass it, Trump can veto it, and then it needs a 2/3 vote in both chambers to override the veto.

It will get past the first steps (petition, rules, house passage), but could get held up at any point down the line.

Crazy how well known he has made her. If he had just sworn her in I doubt hardly anyone would have heard of her.

10 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don’t know… apparently, lately the Democrats can screw anything up.

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Her vote if passed can send it to the senate for approval but with a republican majority it would be unlikely. If by a miracle that happens it will be sent to… you guessed it, the lyin’ king to sign off on. It has always been about who’s on team cheetoh and who’s not. The files will not be released through a legal government process someone needs to anonymously release the files knowing damn well our fondling father won’t.

Grijalvas signing the petition simply means the House will vote on releasing the files and there's no guarantee of a victory, so it may never reach the Senate or Trump's desk. The only way they get released is IF the GOP voters raise enough hell to scare the GOP into doing what's good for the nation instead of themselves. That said, the GOP knows their chances of winning the midterms are fading so their addiction to those Congressional perks might spark an uprising against Trump.

I will believe it when I see it

Senate will reject it.

Good, be skeptical. The pious pedophile protector can, and most likely will, adjourn the house till January.

trump has called in Lauren Boebert, one of 3 Republicans signers to release the files, for a "special meeting" this morning. I fully expect her to cave to trump, so no vote will probably take place until after the midterms.

At this point this has been delayed so long and probably passed through so many hands I just feel like its whatever man

Those files will nto see the light of day.

10 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

A new rotating villain will appear.

While I do want this to happen, let’s stop kidding ourselves… This isn’t the silver bullet everyone expects it will be. When Trump‘s name shows up in those files (assuming it hasn’t already been scrubbed out) his brain dead supporters will just say that it was planted there by Democrats. The truth should be out in the open, yes. But Trump supporters have never cared about truth.

Didn't the VA race nullify this?

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It could if this doesn’t happen before the that election. I think its early december?

10 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was mistaken.

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And who won’t be surprised when the DOJ says “no”.

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Trump had an emergency white house meeting about that vote today so he could strong arm bohbert into changing her vote to no

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Uh huh... And how many Dems are flipping their votes as part of this deal?

10 months ago | Likes 94 Dislikes 3

The House doesn't have a Filibuster rule and thus only needs a simple majority, which the GQP theoretically has, even if a razor thin one.

The seven with Cheeto jizz on their lips?

10 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Which are those?

10 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Those are Senators. This is the other side of Congress.

So, word has already spread about the money the senators will get from the new bill. I am betting that behind closed doors that each who is getting paid will also vote no on Epstein. You want legitimate change? Vote in progressives, strike, make every single day of every politician's life a nightmare where they get no sleep or peace (while acting within the limits of the law).

good misinfo friend the money is for shithole repubs that were already going to vote no not the shithole dems that betrayed us

10 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If the House vote passes, will the Senate need to weigh in as well?

10 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yep. Discharge petition to force the bill to the rules committee, rules committee sends the bill to a vote, the bill passes the house. The senate can then choose to pass their own version (or the same version) of the bill, or to just... not do anything. If they pass it, Trump can veto it, and then it needs a 2/3 vote in both chambers to override the veto.

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Most annoying. Though at least forcing the vote is something. Thanks.

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep, my bet is the Senate doesn't take it up.

10 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Do you guys really think there's anything left of those "files" anymore? Or, anything untampered? If they release it, it's just circus again

10 months ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

they're likely protecting where (and who) the money flowed to and from. Trump knows his base will either bury their heads in the sand, say it's all fake, or double down on why fucking 13 year olds is totally fine. It's the people behind the curtain that want to be protected.

10 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People who've seen them are talking, as much as they're legally able. Apparently the staff tasked with redacting the files were burning out in the same way as LEOs working child exploitation units are, which is to say the contents were repulsive and were driving them to nervous breakdowns (especially those with children of their own). It's not going to stay buried at this rate with the way that the files were allegedly disseminated to staffers in the uncontrolled fashion that they were. I'll 1/

try to remember and get back to this comment, but if memory serves, it was the FBI and another agency working in tandem on the files/data between the two of them. Employees of both should still be held under NDA, but who can tell how many will become whistleblowers. 2/2

10 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Whoever leaks those will go down in history above deep throat as the biggest and most important whistle blower in American history.

10 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

There are too many people across too many admins that know too much for them to lie. And if Republicans had any spine, this would be the perfect juncture for them to jump off the Trump train., especially since a number of them have apparently been told that the files are even worse for Trump than what has been portrayed on television.

10 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

All they do is lie. It shouldn't be surprising. Trump will say something like "Dirty scum liberals will try to tell you I'm in the files but we only see Democrat names in there. Don't fall for their radical communist extremist bullshit." MTG is working to make that believable. Now she's the turncoat, but next she will inspect the files and declare "I knew Trump had nothing to do with that! Now arrest all Democrats on the list."

10 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And the victims had already stated that if the gov doesn't release the files, they will

10 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This is what needs to happen and is the closest we will get to undiluted information. The files would be nice but well supported allegations are what will actually do something.
