A group of people, camped by Kapuche Lake, were at risk taking pictures of this visual feast without precautions. The white clouds of snow advanced towards the valley, unstoppable, instantly enveloping the mountains and crashing against the surface of the lake.
Fortunately there were no fatalities and soon after a small rainbow appeared on the shore of the lake.

Actually the mtns behind the lake are more than just a bit higher than the tree line. Annapurna 2 @ just under 8000 Meters is not far away

You notice how normal clouds gently float with the winds? Well, the thing pushing those is the wind, so that's the force normally. 1/

In this case it's not wind. That is stuff *falling*. Falling off a mountain so aggressively as to kick up giant clouds around it. When 2/

Yes. This is an avalanche, channeling through the path and creating a windstorm at the base. In the spring this is likely a waterfall/river
