I disagree. The feathers found were micro fragments of feathers. There is no way to identify the bird species from micro fragments. Additionally these were under feathers, not fragments of wing feathers. A more likely source for these micro fragments would be a feather pillow. Feathers like eiderdown were a popular fill for both upholstery and bedding pillows back in the 90s. Fragments could easily be caught in her hair simply from sleeping on the pillow.
