22 years ago I hung with a guy called Patrick, he got me! same interests and same sense of humor, played the same video games..best buds.
when school ended I got a job at a local printers and worked all hours, met a girl and kind of lost touch.
So imagine my excitement when i saw his mum recently, give her a hug and asked what Patrick was doing with himself.
When she told me he had died so long ago i felt an empty hollow feeling in the pit of my stomach. Can't believe he died so long ago and so young.
His mum give me the details of his grave and i'm going this weekend to pay my respects.
Guys life is too short..send a text to somebody you havn't made contact with in a long time, because you never know if you will ever see them again!

Same here. Good friend from college died in a motorcycle accident a year after we graduated. So strange to 'miss' him now 20 yrs later.

If you are young, one of the best thing you can do is make friends with someone older. It prevented so much stupid in my life.
