A. I hope that’s the hot side. B. Every experiment I’ve seen with a peltier has shown it’s not effective/efficient enough to be practical

Pretty much, the only time they're practical is situations where nothing else can remove heat fast enough... Still not efficient though :P

Efficient? That’s a tossup, not sure I ran it for hours on a motorcycle battery, and the temp drop was 40F. It is durable though.
