So here is a cool little trick if you are just starting Pokemon Go, or want to create another account and do it.
When you first create an account and begin the game, you have to choose one of 3 Pokemon to capture as your starting Pokemon. It is possible to force a Pikachu spawn!!How? Well, just walk away from the location of the first spawn point. After a while , the original 3 will respawn next to you again.
Repeat this 4 times! On the 4th respawn. Pikachu will now spawn along with the original 3.
Here is the Pikachu I caught.
And here is my Pokedex showing that I only have 1 Pokemon....and it's a Pikachu. Just a cool little easter egg. You can literally choose Pikachu! I haven't seen this before. Wish I had seen it earlier.

Unlike Red, Blue, and Yellow; the starting Pokemon doesn't mean anything. You can find all "4" starters later on in the game.
