It's like grabbing a bottle of vodka and someone filled it with water.

As a vegetarian, I actually like these. No, it doesn’t taste like chicken, but it does taste good.

Having the taste of a 2 yr old and not reading the clearly stated Cauliflower in the title is nothing to brag about. These are damn good idc

Albino Broccoli? That's all made up.

This looks amazing, and cauliflower is such an amazing, versatile vegetable. I'll slap the shit out of anyone who disagrees

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Stop using the term "boneless wings." Those are chicken nuggets and you know it.

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

This looks yummy

Cauliflower is delish.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's no such thing as boneless wings.

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Sure there are, just yank the bones out! They tend to remain boneless for several moments before I finish chewing them.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My gf made these and they are quite good. Not wings but good. Main problem w/ vegan food is it tries to imitate

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

Dude... yall acting like cauliflower is gross... all you need is a little butter.. damn you guys crazy with your sauces....

7 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 4

I love plenty of veg, like brussel sprouts even but cauliflower tasty like musty socks.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If you don't think the best part of the boneless wings is the sauce and deep fry coating, stop lying to yourself.

It's why I like certain popcorn chicken depending on the day. I go to one store because they're usually smaller and crunchier, another store

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

has 'em larger and less crunchy.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

as a meat eater I love fried cauliflower, eggplant, mushrooms, sweet potatoes.

7 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 2

Well... you're an omnivore, so you like food in general ;-)

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Lots of us omnivores like using the term meat eater. I don't know why. Most of us don't eat ???? meat.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I guess, most just take over vegetarian propaganda terms without thinking for themselves.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would eat it. Broccoli is actually quite good, and cauliflower as well. Mix in some rice and chicken and I am making myself hungry...

7 years ago | Likes 362 Dislikes 16

IMO cauliflower is like a million times better than broccoli, calling it "albino broccoli" is an insult I will not stand!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Beef, broccoli, bellpepper, stirfried with soy sauce... I could die for this

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If they’re covered with enough buffalo sauce and ranch, I’d probably eat them!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When I gave up meat, I found big broccoli spears gave me something to roast and cut like a steak. I'm not into fake meat so it worked.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Apparently some people are able to taste a particular chemical present in broccoli that makes it very bitter to them.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I love making stir fried broccoli (and other vegetables). I usually mix it with chicken thighs and the end result tastes really good.

TBF, These are actually pretty good, just tell people WTF they are before they go ᵐᵒⁿᶜʰing on them. I make mine Spicy AF. With Bleu Cheese.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

TIL I want to look up recipes for BBQ cauliflower...

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Recipe? Sounds amazing.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Blue cheese has mold in it

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 7

That's what makes it so fucking good.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Mushrooms are fungus. What's your point?

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

so does beer

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I make Buffalo ones, and i mix a little hot chili oil with the cooking oil. And chunky bleu cheese for dipping. Haven't made them in a while

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Recipe please! Make a post about it?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People can be so closed minded when it comes to meat substitutes. its fine if you try it and don't like it, but dont mock it till u tried it

7 years ago | Likes 220 Dislikes 31

Im open minded but dont call it something its not. If it says wings but its cauliflower ill be pissed. Call it bbq cauliflower bites ill try

7 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

Honestly, people would be more open to Vegan options if they stopped trying to taste like meat. Be original. Make something interesting. 1

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Dont try to be something its not, but make a good looking dish that is all its own and people might seem more open to trying it.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's not a meat substitutes. I'm fine with it being a french fries substitute though – less carbs per serving.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I think it's the threat of bait-and-switch. For example, I love both Skittles and M&M's, switching them is a one-way trip to gag town.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Only the sauce taste good. It doesnt mask the cauliflower at all though

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

They already have a name: vegetables. No need to come with "meat substitute".

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Aren't you a bit closed minded when it comes to vegetable substitutes like steak, sausages, etc.? ;-)

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 8

Its just why bother calling them wings? I think that's the main issue here.

7 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 13

Because they kind of look like "boneless BBQ wings" (which are also technically not wings)?

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

They literally put that in the caption of their own image.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Why call boneless wings wings? They’re not boneless wings, they’re chicken nuggets in buffalo sauce.

7 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Either way, you're expecting chicken and you get chicken.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I would apply the same logic there if I was in charge. Not ever having had them I assumed boneless wings were just wings but boned.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cauliflower is right there in the name as well, the wing part just gives you an idea of the preparation that was used.

7 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I think I just disagree with 'wings' as a flavour. Its just spicy bbq sauce for fucks sake.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Oh – you mean like "chicken-fried steak"?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I agree, just call it bites. That being said, I think it helps people use a point of reference to bridge the gap between veg alternatives.
